October Prayer Update

Hosea 10:12, "Sow for yourselves righteousness;
    reap steadfast love;
    break up your fallow ground,
for it is the time to seek the Lord,
    that he may come and rain righteousness upon you." (ESV)

Dear Praying Friends!

Chilling together after a long week.

Blessed to have Uncle Gerald and Aunt Helen come for Sunday lunch.

Evening fire at the neighbors'!

We continue to feel super blessed at our new home in Illinois. There was definitely some time of home-sickness and adjustment during this move, but we are so fortunate to be surrounded by a strong church, friendly neighbors, and loving family. We feel that our ministry is primarily hospitality this month, as we invite people into our home to get to know them. We pray that this initial step will lead to further involvement and opportunities to bless the people we are developing relationships with. We also have some very generous and friendly neighbors who have invited us for a cookout twice so far and we pray that we will be able to positively influence them with the Gospel.

Benjamin and Nathaniel are getting the house ready for winter!
Below on the left: The broken shed and buried and overgrown fish pond that used to be our back yard. Below on the right: The Transformation!

Such a Blessing.

Daily life continues at a brisk pace. School, work and house renovations keep Benjamin very busy. He has already torn down a shed in the back yard and dug up a small fish pond to level out the yard, cleaned up the electricity in the garage, breezeway and basement, and begun rewiring in the basement. This month we hope to receive our first shipment of supplies to begin interior renovations.

Copywork.

Babysitting. (Can I call it that?! So blessed to spend time with these kiddos.)

Housework: always with my sidekick!

Megan is 16 weeks pregnant now and feeling wonderful and very excited. We don't plan to find out the baby's gender next month but are choosing names and taking inventory of baby supplies and needs. Megan loves babysitting, working and volunteering from home, helping to fix the house, and spending her days with Nathaniel. He is learning a lot of new words lately and loves to copy Mommy's writing or Daddy's hammering.

Silly, Stuck Monkey.

Prayer Requests on our Hearts:

1) Please pray that as our neighbors reach out and bless us that we will in turn be able to extend the Gospel to them.
2) Please pray for Brad who stopped by for tires and chili this month and heard the Gospel.
3) Please pray that as we get to know people we would have generous eyes and hearts to help with any needs God directs us to.
4) Please pray that we will have wisdom to be good stewards in fixing this house God has given us without tying up our money in material things. Pray that we would have wisdom on how to repair/replace large appliances in our home.
5) Please pray that our New Baby would continue to develop healthily and that God would give grace to us as parents and work in our children's hearts to accept Him at a young age.

Ready for Winter!

Thank you for partnering with us in prayer! May you be enjoying the entrance into Fall and festivity!

Blessings,

The McEndarfer Family ~ Benjamin, Megan, Nathaniel & New Baby
