July 2020 Update - Bon Voyage!

Jeremiah 29:13 - "You will see me and find me when you seek me with your whole heart."

Deuteronomy 4:29 - "But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul."

Dear Friends and Family,

Happy Father's Day!

A big THANK YOU to all our readers who have been praying for us that God would give us clear direction for this year. Though it is bittersweet, we are excited to tell you that God has clearly opened an unexpected door for us!

Special Outing with the Holmes/McEndarfer family in Northern Aroostook Country!

Nathaniel is 16 months old now, growing new teeth and climbing to new heights!

Ready to go to work, Nathaniel?

To back up and tell the whole story, Megan's Aunt Helen and Uncle Gerald asked Benjamin on June 1st if he would be willing to come work construction for their business Aardsma Research and Publishing (ARP), in Illinois. After praying together about this particular decision, we feel that this is the opportunity we have been praying that God would lead us to. Though we are sad to leave behind the wonderful friends and family that we have been blessed to spend the past two years with here in Maine, we are happy to be moving close to new family members and for Benjamin to be starting a job offering flexible hours to accommodate his new school schedule. We don't yet know all of the other plans that God has waiting for us in Illinois, but are excited to find out, in His timing.

A dear friend from church gave us money to eat dinner out together mid-week.

The move truly is bittersweet, but we are acting without delay. We have closed our contract on a house and are planning to move into the new residence by August 1st, Lord willing. Megan has been very busy with rush preparations of looking for houses, packing our apartment, and shopping around for new insurance, etc. After visiting Megan's family in NY in mid-July, the plan is to drive a moving van to IL, with help from Benjamin's brother, Gregory. We are extremely grateful to family members in Illinois helping us along the way and for loved ones here in Maine offering us support during this busy time as well.

Last summer when we took Nathaniel to Portage Lake, he was not very impressed.

But this year...

He couldn't get enough of the water!!!

Proud of our brother, Gregory, for graduating high school, and even more proud of his desire to honor the Lord.

Benjamin will be finished working with BUCK Construction on July 7th, just about in time to see the potato factory he's been helping to build be completely finished. Though busy with moving preparations, we are desiring to make the most of all our time left here in Maine by spending time with the people we love. It's been a fun time of game nights, dinners, beach days, and more!

Benjamin leading Sunday Service, June 28th.

We are also thankful for opportunities that continue to arise for us to serve. We have each had unexpected opportunities to share the Gospel this past month. We were also invited to share a message with our church's youth group and Benjamin delivered his first sermon at our church on June 28th. If you are interested in hearing his message on "Deuteronomy - Hope in a Hopeless State," click on the link to see the facebook video: Benjamin's Message.

We're sure going to miss our cousins!!!

And special friends.

During this busy upcoming month, please pray for us:

1) That we would continue to hear God's voice clearly and He would continue to guide our steps in purchasing and moving to our new home.

2) That God would continue to grant us opportunities to serve and fellowship before we leave.

3) That we would have boldness in sharing the Gospel always.

4) That our travels to NY to visit Megan's family June 12th - 18th would go well and that our 22 hour drive out to IL later in the month would be safe (so thankful that Benjamin's brother, Gregory, has volunteered to help us drive out there and friends are willing to host us along the way)!

Blueberries

As always, thank you for your prayers! Many of you have contacted us directly already letting us know that you have been praying for us. We want you to know that your prayers are evident in the way that God has clearly led us, sustained us, and taught us so far - and we are immensely grateful for the support.

Blessings to you,

Benjamin, Megan & Nathaniel McEndarfer
